Hi, I'm Dr. Jim Kinnebrew. Like you, I am a tentmaking pastor. Have been for a number of years. In the process, I have learned a few things that I believe will make your life and ministry more fulfilling and effective. My Day Job
I'm extremley blessed to have a day job that is intimately tied to my calling as a teacher of the Word of God. Since 1988 I have taught Bible and Theology courses at Luther Rice Seminary, where I am now Vice President. This vocation has given me exposure to thousands of other pastors--many of whom are also working at so-called "secular" jobs to support their famiies.
My fellowship with these choice servants of God, along with my own personal ministry experiences, have given me some insights into the challenges and blessings of the tentmaking pastor. Let's fellowship together and learn from one another for the Glory of God our Savior.
